Foster Forward is an program dedicated to empowering foster youth in their journey of independence and success after foster care. Through personalized workshops, coaching, and resources, Foster Forward hopes to provide these young adults with the tools and resources they need to navigate the challenges of adulthood with confidence.
Inspiration
Studies show within five years of aging out of foster care, 40% are homeless or incarcerated. Less than 1% achieve a college degree. With this event we hope to promote better statistics one foster youth at a time.
Mission
Our mission is to enrich the lives of current and former foster youth through know-how, life skills, and professionalism. We hope to empower them to live self sufficient & fulfilling lives after foster care.
